Began round four of Clomid today. Hoping for another month with next to no crazy symptoms.
However, if I ever have to use drugs again to cycle, I will most likely be moving onto a drug called Femara. Typically given to women for breast cancer treatment, I may also be taking it to help my follicles grow. The difference is Clomid can thin the lining of my uterus, while Femara won't. Again, hope we don't have to get that far. . . .

Few updates.

Here's what I know:
We have scheduled my u/s (ultrasound) with my RE for 6/28 (CD 12) around 9am. Problem is, I also begin a grad class that day. . . at 9am. . . WTF. They don't offer ANY other times. How incredibly inflexible can they be?
This most likely means I will be having IUI #3 a day or two later. (CD 13/14).
Here's what I don't know:
I've been hearing some talk of people using "mucinex" for helping the issue of hostile mucus. Haha- I still love that phrase. While I don't know if that's what I have, and IUI supposedly bypasses that, I'm still curious about taking it for other times during the month. . . you know TI times.
Secondly, there is a new drug the nurse told me about yesterday. I could begin talking it next cycle (if needed) instead of clomid. The reason being clomid can sometimes thin the uterine lining. That could cause the embryo to be unable to implant in the uterus because the lining isn't thick enough to support it. (Ie. I can't stay prego). What is this mystery drug called?
Letrozole (AKA Femara).
Sounds good to me--but again, hopefully I won't have to look into next cycle. :)
