One year.

Today is a sad reminder of how far we have come.

One year ago today, we lost our first baby from IUI #3.

One year later, we are 22 weeks pregnant with our twin boys.

What a difference one year makes.

Off BC Pills January 2009. (On since 90's)

January 2010- DH's SA: Normal

Jan/Feb/Mar 2010- (Hope for therapeutic effect)= BFN x3

April 2010- Clomid (50mg), Ultrasound, HcG= BFN

April/ May 2010- Clomid (50mg), Ultrasound, HcG, IUI= BFN

May/ June 2010- Clomid (50mg), LH testin', IUI#2= BFN

June/ July 2010- Clomid, u/s, LH testin', IUI#3=POAS=BFP

7.16-Beta#1= 43.5

7.18-Beta#2= 159.1 !!! I'm prego!

July, 24th, 2010- ER visit. Beta#1= 371. Ectopic

pregnancy in left tube. Two shots of

methotrexate. 5w, 2d.

Forced break.

7.28.10-Beta #2= 375 (+ 4 points)

7.31.10-Beta #3= 123 (-252 points)

August 2nd, 2010- ER visit. Cervix dilated. PAIN.

Beta #4= 92. (-31 points)

8.7.10- Beta#5= 24 (-68 points)

8.13.10- Beta#6= 0.7. (-23.3 points!)

Finally "negative"!!!

Issue with the tubes

Left- Ectopic pregnancy, possible blockage.

Right- Hydrosalpinx or "hydro".

Ciliae may also be cashed.

New RE wants HSG/ Laparoscopy.

May have to have tubes removed (After IVF)

Changing to a RE in Illinois.

Moving to IVF.

August 27th, 2010- IVF #1

Meds: Lupron, baby aspirin, BCP, Gonal-F,

estrogen, HcG, PIO, Tetracycline, Medrol.

I've graduated! All normal.

(5.23.2011)- See high risk specialist.

High tech U/S scan.

All appears normal so far.

Possibly Baby B is a Boy???

(6.15.2011)- 2nd OB appointment.

(6.23.2011)- Perinatologist Apt. #2

17 week, 4 day. Genders? TWO Boys!

(7.14.2011)- Perinatologist #3 apt.

Babies on track for singles! 20w, 4d.

Baby A: 13 oz.

Baby B: 14 oz.

(7.15.2011)- OB appointment.

Tested for Toxoplasmosis-Negative!

(8.16.2011)- Perinatologist apt #4.

Babies are over a week ahead!

Baby A: 135 bpm, 2 lbs.

Baby B: 151 bpm, 1 lb 15 oz.

(8.19.2011)- OBGYN appointment.

Gestational diabetes test. NEGATIVE :)

Iron levels are also normal.

Both babies are head down :)

(9.10.2011)- Perinatologist apt #5.

(9.13.2011)- OBGYN Appointment.

(9.10.2011)- Baby A's Water breaks.

Delivered both boys vaginally.

Baby A: Mason Oscar. 3:39pm.

2 lbs 14 oz. 14 3/4 inches

Baby B: Christopher Michael. 3:46pm.

2 lbs 15 oz. 16 inches.

August 1st, 2013.

Meet with New (old) RE at closer clinic.

August 7th, 2013- HSN.

Ute is clear for occupation.

August 9th, 2013-

I drive Embryos (5&6) IL --> WI.

August 25th, 2013- BEGIN FET #2!!!

Begin Birth Control.

(9.14.2013)- Stopped BCP.

(9.16.2013)- Anticipated AF date.

(9.19.2013)- AF finally arrives day 30.

Begin estrogen pills. 1 pill 2x/day.

(9.21.2013)- Baseline U/S, all is well.

(10.2.2013)- Midcycle u/s #1.

Lining 6.35mm-7mm.

Not good enough, come back 2 days

Now 2 estrogen pills 3x/day

1 pill vaginally 2x/day

(10.4.2013)- Midcycle u/s #2.

Lining is 7.00mm We're a GO.

Adding 1/2cc PIO today

1cc PIO everyday after.

(10.10.2013)- FET of 6AA embryo.

"modified bed rest" for 2-3 days.

(10.21.2013)- BETA, cycle day 33, 11p5dt.

NEGATIVE.

(10.25.13)- AF (Skipping this cycle)

October 29th, 2013 - Meeting with RE to discuss

next steps and medications and last FET .

Decided to do a "dry run" cycle with no

estrogen to see how my lining responds

on it's own.

Oct/Nov cycle: no estrogen pills/ patches, etc

Had sex several times in hopes that might

help "plump" some lining up.

OPK's this cycle until ovulation.

Ovulation on Nov 6th.

Vag u/s on Nov 7th. Lining 8.72! WTF?!?

November 20, 2013- Beginning FET #3!

(11.20.13)-AF (No estrogen this cycle!)

(11.30-12.4.13)- OPK's Finally got a surge

much later than usual (CD 14/15).

Also had sex 4x before surge.

(12.4.13)- Appointment at RE, midcycle u/s

Lining = 8.38! (w/o estrogen!)

(12.6.13)- HcG shot in afternoon

Begin 1cc progesterone IM 1x/day.

(12.10.13)- Transfer day!

One 5 day, grade BC embryo.

Embryologist thought it looked better.

"Bedrest" for three days.

(12.19/20.13)- Cramping and dark spotting.

(12.19.13) - BETA #1= 19!

(Low but something)

(12.21.13) - BETA #2= 37.2!

(Almost doubled in 24)

Asked for another beta & prog. test.

(12.24.13) - BETA #3= 103.1!

Progesterone= 26.77

I feel much better about that rise.

(1.6.14) - First u/s.

We see one beautiful little baby!

EDD = August 28-31, 2014

(1.14.14) - First OBGYN apt and u/s

7w5d. Baby has HR = 142bpm :)

(1.24.14) - Woke up to a significant bleed.

U/S at ob that day. Baby 3.0 looks ok

Suspecting SCH. HR= 170.

(1.30.14) - Woke up to another new bleed.

U/S at OB. HR= 173. Measuring 9w,3d

OB fairly sure it's SCH. 1-3 small clots.

(2.11.14)- Lower Progesterone to 1/2 cc

(2.13.14)- Nuchal translucency screen u/s.

Normal. :)

(2.17.14)- 1/2cc prog. every other day

(2.21.14)- NT screening follow up & OB apt.

Questioning prog 1x/wk at 16wks+

(3.8.14)- Last PIO shot!

(3.13.14)- Perinatologist u/s (16 weeks)

(3.21.14)- OB Check up (17 weeks)

(4.10.14)- Perinatologist u/s (Half-baked)

(4.11.14)- 20 week u/s and OB check-up
