8:14am
I am back from the BETA blood draw.
Now we wait.
I am home for teachers conferences today and will be sitting by the phone until the RE's office calls. Gonna be a long few hours. . .
11:43 am
WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO CALL??!?!?!
12:33pm
We called.
The results were not what we had hoped, but not enough to completely rule out a success.
BETA was 76.5. The rest of the details are in the sidebar.
We are still in BETA HELL. Our next BETA (#3) is on Sunday. We will be going in VERY EARLY before DH runs in a half-marathon in Chicago. I'll most likely get the call before DH has finished the race.
Sheesh. It never ends.
If the numbers are still rising, it sounds like we will schedule a VERY early ultrasound at the RE (back all the way in Chicago) for November 5th-ish. I should be about 5 1/2 weeks at that point. They will check to see if the embryo is developing normally and if it is in fact, nuzzled into the uterus, and NOT one of my tubes.
So here we go again. Another span of time spent waiting. . . I'm sick of not knowing. . .
I know they're implanted--now they must GROOOOOOWWWWW!
Grow. Grow. GROW!!!
ReplyDeleteWe are thinking of you and sending a BOZO load of prayers that Sunday's numbers ring the bell at the top of the scale! Thinking of you guys always!
