BETA #1 IN!!! :)

BETA #1. . . . 9dp5dt. . . .

272 !!!

Holy crap! That is our highest first BETA ever!!! Higher than any other BETA we ever had within the first 5 weeks!

I am at a loss! Now we wait and hope to see it double (or more) on Wednesday! :)

OMG!!!

. . . and to be compleetly honest, I POAS yesterday afternoon and it was positive :)

See photo below :) Look how DARK that sucker is at 8dp5dt!

Here's what's weird. This morning, I got up and was so dang excited to POAS to see it get even darker! But look! It's lighter! WHAT THE???
Oh well, maybe it was a shorter length of time without peeing or the stick was bad. . .or who knows! I am sitting here with 272 beta reading from this morning, after the light pee stick! I say, "Screw you, second pee stick!"

To pee or not to pee . . .

I wanna pee on this damn stick tomorrow. But after looking back at my results from July, I'm afraid that my line will not show up on 12dpET or be so light that it's disappointing.

I'm afraid of a tiny beta--which would make me think one or both embies might be in my tubes again. The ectopic has made me "gun shy" about this whole process. I can't just be happy now when I get pregnant--Not at least until 7 weeks when I can see the ultrasound and know my tubes haven't exploded from the kiddos.

So I want to know--am I pregnant???

These PIO (Progesterone In Oil) shoots are a pain in my ass. A few days ago, DH was giving me my shot in the right side of my booty. When we pulled the giant needle out--blood squirted out like a pouting fountain--all over the white rug. Crazy, right?

I am hoping that I will have good (BFP) news very soon--so that I feel there is reason for doing all these shots and wearing these stupid estrogen patches that I hate. The patches come off all the time. They annoy me every time I move. Today they are lined up, three strong, on my lower back. Before that, I had my lower tummy tagged. Good thing it's not bikini season anymore! But man, everyday at 8:30pm our life has to STOP!

So do I POAS before BETA or not?

I'm not sure-- I'll have to decide tomorrow morning before I pee at the crack of dawn. But I've gotta be honest--I probably won't give the results if I do. I'd need to keep the "unsure-ness" of an "at-home-preggo-test" between DH and I until Monday afternoon. Then, when BETA arrives-- I'll let you in!

PRAY FOR US PEOPLE!!!! (All four of us! :D)

Being prego makes me loose weight. . .

Since I got my first positive pregnancy test, I've changed my eating habits back to what I know they should be. I've done pretty well over the last year, losing 20-25 lbs and continuing my vegetarian lifestyle. But now, it's a whole new game.

I think about every single thing I put into or onto my body. No more salicylic acid in my face products. No Retin-A. No candy, soda, or caffeine. And NO BOOZE or social smokey treats.

One of the other major changes is that I now have a whole new reason to go to the gym. Taking care of embryo by taking better care of myself.

Now don't get me wrong, I wasn't a complete slob before the double pink lines. It's just now, I know there is a reason, instead of hoping there will be a reason.

This is a peek at my diet now.

I eat this salad everyday for lunch. (I know, I need to minus the feta). It is made of romaine lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, carrots, sprouts, red onion, red pepper hummus, and sometimes, one 100% whole wheat pita underneath. (All organic-as always).

For breakfast this morning I had this. 100% whole wheat toast, 3 egg whites w/ salt, pepper, and parmesan, cantaloupe, and my daily pomegranate juice.

I hope this helps to not only keep my pregnancy going long and strong, but also to give me the healthiest baby possible in the end.

In other news, I found out for the first time today how I am not in charge of my body anymore. I almost blacked out. (Which I have only done one time in my life).
I was taking a long relaxing shower. I sit, I scrub, I do all the usual things. When I stood up, I felt a little dizzy and saw the dreaded "black flash". I knelt down and go my self back together. I turned down the hot water and felt a little better. I tried to quickly rinse the conditioner out of my hair, but I had to turn off the water.
I got my towel . . . and the room started spinning. . .I couldn't even dry off. I was nauseous, it got dark and fuzzy, and I was about to pass out on the tile floor. I ran for the bed and fell backwards onto it. I called for my husband and (da-da-DAH!) he came rushing in.

I must have stood up too fast. I was jittery, too warm, dizzy, and sickly. I just needed to lay there for a few minutes to get my balance and senses back. But now I know, I do not own my self anymore. For nine months, I need to chill.

But it'll all be worth it. I provide you, for you viewing pleasure, one last POAS picture from this morning. If you thought yesterday was a line--check this out!

BETA#1 IN!!!

43.5! She said I'm prego!!! For now anyways. We are cautiously optimistic.

However, the nurse said anything over 25 is good. BFP!!!

DH and I are in shock. We are sitting here, just staring at each other.

DH is so cute, too. When I asked him, "What we were going to do now?" He said. "We're going to Barnes and Noble because I have no idea what happens next!" (He needs books to read :)

In general the hCG levels will double every 72 hours. The level will reach its peak in the first 8 - 11 weeks of pregnancy and then will decline and level off for the remainder of the pregnancy.-AmericanPregnancy.org

On Sunday, we go in for beat #2. We hope to double our numbers. Monday, we get the results. That will mean either another beta or setting up the appointment for our 7-week u/s.

Oh my. oh my. OH MY!!!

Still waiting for aunt flow. . .

Yep, you heard it.

I am still waiting for the bitch's arrival. . . and by waiting, I mean I hope the skank gets lost for 9 months in the desert.

I have been crampy for about three days now, and had a negative prego test Monday. But it was an early test, and STILL no AF.

IF she isn't here by tomorrow morning--I'm testing again. It will be exactly two Thursday's later. . . Dare I hope?!?!?!

ZA GOATS!...I mean, BLASTOCYSTS! . . I mean, EMBRYOS! . . .er, . . KIDS!?!?!? ARE YOU IN THERE?!?!?!
